At Louisiana Ear Nose Throat and Sinus (LENTS) our ENT doctors know that effective treatment for balance and vertigo takes more than just state-of-the-art technology and relevant therapeutic techniques. It takes compassion and effective communication. You’ll receive all of these when you visit LENTS. How your ears affect your balance

Your inner ears, eyes and body all work together as part of a complex neurological system to control your equilibrium and balance. Input from your eyes, ears and body are transmitted to your brain which then decides where you are and your position in space.  If this vestibular system isn’t working properly you may experience dizziness, vertigo, imbalance, motion sickness, disequilibrium, and anxiety. Falls from poor balance can cause serious and even life-threatening injuries.

The FYZICAL approach

LENTS offers an official FYZICAL® Therapy and Balance Center to treat problems with dizziness, vertigo and balance.

Our physical therapists will evaluate your body as a whole and track your symptoms back to the root source of the issue. Our focus is on your personalized goals. Your treatment plan will not only address your symptoms, it will provide you with the tools and strategies you need to live your life to the fullest.
