Amanda Holland, a Louisiana native, earned her Bachelors of Arts degree from Louisiana State University in 2008, and her Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from Louisiana Tech University in 2012.  Prior to graduating, she performed her audiology externship at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, LA. With 10 years of experience, Dr. Holland has previously worked for LENTS when under the title of The Hearing Center of Drs. Hansbrough, S. Peters, Traxler, Scallan, and G. Peters, as well as with the Baton Rouge Clinic.  She has returned to LENTS in the Denham Springs office, and is enjoying her closer commute and ability to serve the community in which she lives. Amanda Holland is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed in the state of Louisiana.  Her professional interests include hearing and balance diagnostics, patient and frequent communicator education, hearing aid fittings, hearing conservation, and ear mold fittings. Outside of her audiologist role, Dr. Holland is married with two daughters and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  She also is a dance instructor, and enjoys crafting, traveling, and watching her daughters dance.
